Living with Microsoft SQL Server in an IBM i Shop - Craig Pelkie

Microsoft SQL Server is one of the most widely used database management systems. It is frequently used with the IBM i in many companies. In this session you'll learn about some of the major features of SQL Server that can be used to complement your IBM i database. You'll see how you can replicate data from your IBM i to SQL Server, or from SQL Server to your IBM i. You'll also learn about additional features of SQL Server, including scripting, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Craig Pelkie has worked as a developer/analyst with IBM midrange computers for many years. He has also written and lectured extensively on IBM AS/400 and iSeries technologies, including client/serverprogramming, Client Access, Java, WebSphere, MS.Net applications for the iSeries, and Web development.
